The government had just
closed the opposition’s biggest newspaper and all the journalists stood up
like one man: "You can't buy us!" After that, they first went to a
pub together, they needed a little refreshment.
In the minds of some, they
were already at home. How should he explain it to his family? What reproaches
would be waiting for him there? "Haven't I moaned lustfully enough in
bed and made you feel that you are a real man? And you play the hero here in
public and endanger our family life. How am I supposed to buy the promised
school bag for little Henry? How should we pay the rent? Maybe I should move back
to my mother’s house?” one of them already hears his wife.
That evening in the news,
there was a huge report in the international media, declarations of
solidarity and outrage about the country's government. A manifestation was
organized. 5000 people took to the streets.
A month later they had
forgotten him, life went on, his wife had moved back to her parents with the
children and he sometimes met with his former colleagues in the pub.
