Even the small has its value

Once upon a time, there was a great monkey king in the banana valley. He was not aggressive because he lived out his good moods and bad whims in sports. His favourite sports was wrestling. He had founded many wrestling schools and competitions took place every year to see who the best wrestler was in the realm. The winner of each year was held in great honour. The best wrestlers didn’t have to work, they trained all day long.
Of course, not everybody could be the best and as the king only loved the best wrestlers, he neglected all his other citizens.
One day however, gorillas invaded the country and the monkeys fled into the trees and smaller branches where the gorillas with their heavy bodies could not reach them. Even the king was sitting high up in a tree hoping the gorillas wouldn’t cut it down.
His best wrestler remained on the ground and tried really hard to fight the gorillas but as being alone, he did not have the slightest chance against the numerical superiority of the gorillas.
For days, the intruders robbed and pillaged the realm, stole or destroyed everything what fell in their hands.
There was a small female and when she saw that even the king and the best wrestler were helpless against the big apes, she got so angry that she took a coconut and threw it onto the head of the biggest gorilla.
Hit on the head, he fell limply to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Pardon, dear reader! At that time the potato wasn’t known by the monkeys.
However, when the other monkeys noticed the effectivity of the small female’s action, they began to imitate her. Stones, sticks and nuts filled the air and within some hours the valley was cleared of any kind of gorilla.
The small female was the star of the day and celebrated by everybody.
The king learned from this and understood that it’s not right to neglect the smaller and less gifted ones and in the future founded many training schools for them as well. From then on, not only wrestling was taught but stone throwing and the use of sticks too.
